# Temple of Yoga Studio, Banbury
Temple of Yoga is a community-focused yoga studio in Banbury, Oxfordshire, founded by Ayesha Ali and Eddie Reeves. Built on the yogic principles of ahimsa (non-violence) and satya (truthfulness), the studio serves people of all experience levels—from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners—whilst honouring yoga's Indian roots and traditions.
The studio distinguishes itself through its genuine commitment to accessibility and social responsibility. A £2 donation from every class fee goes to charity, and the studio remains open to those unable to pay, embodying the yogic principle of seva (service to others). This ethical approach reflects the founders' 20-year journey with yoga and their desire to share its transformative benefits equitably with their local community.
Temple of Yoga offers a diverse range of classes catering to different needs and life stages: pregnancy yoga, flow classes, stretch sessions, dharma classes, and monthly specialised offerings including women's circles and mama connect groups. Classes are led by experienced instructors including Ayesha, Eddie, Hayley, Becca, Louise, and Alice, each bringing their own expertise.
Beyond individual classes, the studio fosters community connection through workshops and special events, with regular newsletters keeping members informed. The studio recently expanded to a dedicated new space, enabling it to grow its offerings whilst maintaining its core mission of nourishing body, mind, and soul within an inclusive, values-driven environment.
