# Yoga with Christina
Christina Klein is an American yoga instructor based in Ringwood who brings 25+ years of dedicated practice and training to her bespoke wellness offerings. Operating under the philosophy of "Release, Unwind & Refuel," she guides students towards discovering their own inner strength, balance and flow—both physically and mentally.
Christina's approach is rooted in authentic, lived experience. Her journey began in 1992 whilst studying psychology at university, where yoga became instrumental in navigating grief and profound life challenges. This personal foundation informs her teaching deeply. She trained for four years with the British Wheel of Yoga (the UK's highest governing body) and has studied under renowned teachers including the late TKV Desikachar at the Krishnamacharya Mandiram in Chennai, India, and at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala.
What sets Christina apart is her holistic, individual-centred approach. Rather than one-size-fits-all instruction, she offers personalised guidance tailored to each student's needs—whether managing grief, overwhelmed nervous systems, or simply seeking greater calm and creativity. Her extensive knowledge of pregnancy modifications, combined with her background in gymnastics and sports, means she works effectively with diverse clientele at all life stages. She encourages students to extend yoga philosophy beyond the mat into everyday living, creating sustainable wellbeing rather than temporary escape.
Her teaching draws from extensive travel, continuous learning, and real-world experience navigating life's complexities. Christina creates an environment where students feel genuinely supported in their transformation.
