Alex Hanly is a senior accredited yoga teacher and certified yoga therapist based in Canterbury, Kent, offering specialised yoga therapy for physical pain, emotional wellbeing and personal transformation. With extensive training in yoga therapy, NonViolent Communication, Movement Medicine and Active Birthing, Alex combines compassionate teaching with deep therapeutic expertise.

She works with clients seeking more than standard yoga classes—those dealing with chronic pain, emotional resilience challenges or wanting profound self-inquiry. Her approach is entirely personalised, rejecting one-size-fits-all teaching in favour of gentle, precise practices tailored to individual needs. Alex holds non-judgmental, safe spaces that make her work accessible regardless of prior yoga experience.

Her credentials include CNHC Certified Yoga Therapist status, Yoga Alliance UK senior accreditation, and specialist training from the Yoga Hospital at Yoga Vidya Gurukul University.
