# Prana Yoga Studio
Prana Yoga Studio is a boutique yoga community located in Hamilton's conservation area, established in 2013. Founded by Carla Hillman-Webster, the studio operates as a collective of independent yoga teachers united by a philosophy that yoga is accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level.
The studio serves the South Lanarkshire community and welcomes complete beginners through to advanced practitioners. Rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all approach, Prana meets students where they are, with beginner-specific classes alongside advanced offerings. The diverse teaching collective ensures there's something for every practitioner: Flow, Yin, Ashtanga, Restorative, Prenatal, Family, Meditation, and Sanskrit Chanting classes are all available.
What distinguishes Prana is its genuinely inclusive community ethos. The studio has evolved from modest origins into a vibrant hub where students find spiritual nourishment, friendships, and personal growth. The unique operational model—where each teacher maintains individual booking systems—creates flexibility whilst maintaining collective identity. The physical space itself enhances the experience: situated on the first floor of 110 Cadzow Street, natural light floods through nine windows, whilst underfloor heating provides comfort during winter months.
Beyond regular classes, Prana offers comprehensive training pathways, including their 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Programme, plus seasonal workshops and foundational courses. For many members, Prana has become more than a studio—it's a spiritual home and social community. The accessible location near public transport, the M74, and local car parking makes it convenient for the broader Hamilton area.
