Luci Trendle Yoga Studio, located on the edge of a working farm west of Reading in Berkshire, offers traditional Hatha yoga instruction rooted in over 25 years of personal practice. Founded in 2018, the studio serves people of all ages and abilities, from children to adults, in a naturally peaceful setting easily accessible from the A4 and M4.
Luci qualified as a yoga teacher in 2006 under Swami Ambikananda at the Traditional Yoga Association, where she now holds senior teacher status. Her teaching draws together asana, pranayama (breathwork) and yoga nidra, emphasising awareness and individual exploration within personal physical limitations. Rather than pushing students toward standardised poses, she encourages a bespoke approach where each person progresses at their own pace.
What distinguishes this studio is Luci's multi-faceted expertise and credentials. Beyond general yoga instruction, she holds advanced qualifications in teaching children, young people, and those with ADHD and autism spectrum conditions. She participates in Coventry University's health research project and has taught at the World Yoga Festival annually since 2018. Within the Traditional Yoga Association, she examines trainee teachers, leads the Workshop Development Group, and now delivers the association's Foundation and Teacher Training Courses.
